Expansion

In September 2024, we proudly expanded our A&D Tutoring services to Calgary, extending the personalized, results-driven approach that has made us a cornerstone of Edmonton’s academic community. This decision was driven by a clear need to support learners not only in Edmonton but across Alberta, where we observed significant gaps in access to high-quality, individualized tutoring.

With this expansion, A&D Tutoring now offers tailored programs in core subjects like

GED to CAEC Rebrand

Early in 2024, the Alberta Government introduced significant changes by rebranding the GED (General Education Diploma) program to the CAEC (Canadian Adult Education Credential). While the premise remains similar—providing adults with a pathway to earn a high school equivalency credential—this rebrand brought updated features that left many prospective students feeling uncertain about how to study.

At A&D Tutoring, we quickly recognized the need for clear guidance and tailored support. That’s why we took the initiative to develop one of Canada’s first comprehensive CAEC-based preparation courses, designed specifically to help adult learners navigate the new system with confidence. Our experienced team of tutors understands the critical role high school equivalency plays in opening doors to better career opportunities, further education, and personal growth.

A Year of Growth and Innovation

We are proud to have deepened our partnerships with local schools and community organizations, reinforcing our mission to uplift Alberta’s education system and empower learners across all stages of their academic journey. Continually, the A&D Education Association (ADEA), has continued to help learners have access to STEM education and learning. ADEA continues their mission to fill the gaps in providing opportunities and resources that are typically out of reach to learners based on location, income, and more.
